FLSmidth søger Thought Leader & Content Marketing Manager

Can you develop and drive thought leader content marketing strategies that position and differentiate FLSmidth to the global mining industry?

You will be a key player in our efforts to deliver and execute our thought leader ambition and content marketing strategies. You are the editor-in-chief for FLSmidth in the mining industry and therefore you know what is going on in the industry. You also know who the key stakeholders to engage with are and you can communicate the good story alongside the profile of FLSmidth in an engaging way through words, pictures and video.

You are comfortable seeing the big picture and can tie individual, targeted projects together in a bigger strategic setting. You will be part of a global marketing department with the ambition of being the frontrunner of the industry and positioning ourselves as thought leaders. You will work across experts in the business, marketing, communication, and sales teams to set the editorial direction in line with the business strategy, while having a close working relationship with industry experts and media all over the world. One of your primary success criteria is your ability to succeed with stakeholder management and professional and inspiring collaboration with internal and external experts.

Your primary work tasks

  • Create the editorial vision and strategy aligned to our brand delivering industry relevant content through the audience's preferred channel
  • Act as an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, style and design and ensures content is published, edited, republished, repurposed, and archived at the right times
  • Build knowledge of current and emerging themes and works across the company to build a pipeline of content
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, and publishing content
  • Cultivate relationships with advocates and influencers to create effective content programs and strategies
  • Motivating and encourage employees to actively participate in social media as brand ambassadors and influencers
  • Advise on content marketing and communication for internal stakeholders

Your profile

  • Relevant communication or marketing degree, for example, cand. comm., cand. merc., journalist or the like
  • 5+ years of professional experience preferably in content marketing or publishing in a global context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English as the primary language
  • Track record in strategic planning, execution and budget management
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Strong team player who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Background in coordinating and working across cross functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Curiosity and inclination to seek new tools and technologies to advance our goals
  • Knowledge of current industry trends is preferred but not necessary
