momondo is looking for a highly passionate and competent Global Head of Advertising who will be responsible for transforming momondos overall global strategies to best-in-class campaigns and differentiated creative solutions. You will also run and develop the two coolest and most ambitious creative teams in Denmark: momondos Campaign Team and Content Team.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will report to the Global Head of Marketing, Per Christiansen, and will be part of both MarCom Management and Marketing Management. It is important that you are able to effectively manage both the Campaign and Content teams resources, that you maintain focus on ensuring high quality solutions and that you work well under pressure.

You should:

  • Take great joy in strategic development, idea generation and execution tasks, and enjoy working on a campaign from the moment of idea creation until the final iterations
  • Be self-confident and able to motivate your team with your strong communicative competencies and the trust you build with your team as well as the rest of the momondo organisation
  • Have a flair for people management, as you will set the direction, prioritise and provide clarification on diverse campaign tasks
  • Always see the bigger picture and provide accurate and well-documented recommendations, and know when and how to ask the right questions
  • Enjoy multitasking and be capable of gathering all the threads in and across projects, yet still have an eye for the details
  • Be ready to accept the challenge and become part of a highly creative and international working environment where things are always evolving

Your primary focus areas will be:

  • Planning, development and optimising large-scale campaigns across 12 TV markets, as well as digital and purpose campaigns translated into multiple markets and nationalities
  • Creating best-in-class campaigns and taking our creative content solutions to the next level
  • Securing processes and being responsible for campaign management, production, quality assurance and prioritisation
  • Managing and being creative lead for the Campaign and Content teams (a total of 15 people, including art directors, campaign managers, copywriters, video editors, content editors and producers)

Skills and background
Ideally, you are result driven and ambitious and have an academic yet highly creative mind-set. Its important that you are genuinely passionate about new trends in the digital sphere as well as creative possibilities, and have a strong passion for setting the creative direction and translating thoughts and ideas into innovative campaigns and high quality creative solutions.

You should be creative when it comes to communication and adverting, and be able to contribute with a wide range of diverse campaign ideas. On top of this, you need to be able to maintain a constant focus on creating the best strategic solutions with the highest value for the momondo users.

You should also have:

  • A thorough understanding of traditional marketing channels along with an up to date knowledge about digital opportunities (particularly digital TVC and online video) as well as understanding of digital ecosystems
  • 3 to 5 years as a Head of Marketing (or similar) or an agency background with a strong planner and creative experience
  • English on a business level speaking Danish is considered a bonus but is not a necessity
  • A flair for developing strategies and creative concepts, and turning them into valuable campaigns.
