Set the strategic direction for pricing in TDC Group

Are you passionate about the pricing discipline, strategy building, profit maximization and growth? Then this is the job you are looking for! As Strategic Pricing Expert in TDC Group Portfolio Management, you will set the strategic direction for pricing across our wide-ranging portfolio of brands and product lines, to maximize the long-term profitability and growth of TDC Group. You will lead pricing projects of strategic and tactical character across the group as well as for our individual brands, and you will play a key role in developing pricing as a discipline within the TDC Group.

Group Portfolio Management is a part of Group Strategy, a central function reporting directly to the CEO of TDC Group, whose responsibility it is to set the strategic direction for TDC Group, and drive key strategic projects across the group and its business lines. The purpose of Group Portfolio Management is to ensure that we maximize the long-term value of our portfolio of brands and product lines. We define the pricing strategy for the group, own the pricing governance process, monitor brand price performance and market price developments, support the business lines with commercial insights and analyses, and drive or support pricing projects of strategic and tactical character for the Group as well as the individual brands. We aim to be the center of excellence for pricing as a discipline in TDC Group.

As Strategic Pricing Expert, your main tasks will be to

- Drive and facilitate the design of a group pricing strategy for each main product line (mobile voice, mobilebroadband, broadband and TV), including the price positioning of each individual brand.

- Design and own the tactical pricing frameworks for each brand and product line that supports the price positioning of that brand, and continuously revise these in response to changing market conditions.

- Lead pricing projects of strategic and tactical character for the group or individual brands, and support our brands key commercial projects with pricing expertise and perspectives in a consulted role.


Take a leading role in building Group Portfolio Management into a center of excellence for pricing by sharing knowledge and expertise internally in the team, and by establishing a network for pricing professionals across the group.

The ideal candidate has:

 - A relevant education on Master level, e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering.

 - 5+ years of total experience.

 - 2+ years of experience working directly with pricing on a strategic and/or tactical level.

 - Preferably, experience in a consultant role from either a top consulting firm or from a similar role in a larger corporation (e.g. from an internal consultant-, strategy- or commercial function).


You are structured, methodical, analytical and detail-oriented. You have a commercial and strategic mindset, and you understand competitive dynamics and game theory. You are proactive and operate with a sense of urgency, and you enjoy the responsibility that comes with this role. You understand that a key part of your role is to manage the expectations and agendas of a wide range of stakeholders, and you manage your stakeholders and navigate corporate politics with flair. You have excellent communication skills both verbally and visually, as well as excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Experience from the telecom industry or similar subscription-based industries (insurance, energy etc.), as well as experience with pricing in both a B2B and B2C context, is a plus, but not a requirement. Fluency in Danish is similarly a plus, but not a requirement.

In this role, you will be in the unique position of being able to greatly influence the pricing strategy of one of Denmarks largest companies. Working in Group Strategy, you will be at the center of strategic decision making in TDC Group, and will enjoy significant exposure to top management across the group. You will be part of a young, dynamic, talented and ambitious team, and you will work alongside colleagues that are similarly passionate about pricing and strategy as yourself, who strive to inspire and challenge each other every day. We have an informal tone, and a great social climate. You will be working out of our headquarters at Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen. There will be limited travelling, but a significant workload, especially leading up to key milestones on larger projects.
